Executive Director Tejas Sekhar recently published a manuscript titled "Regarding the Swedish model for prioritizing research on the use of antibiotics: Aligning public funding with research gaps" in Health Policy.
As they write in the article, "Utilization of the Swedish model could help lower drug prices in the U.S., thus making drugs more equitable and accessible to patients. This could, in turn, promote proper usage and lessen resistance in low-income and marginalized communities where lower rates of health literacy compound medical issues and chronic diseases."
