[A note from Nathan Graber-Lipperman, founder of Unplugg'd]
When Tejas Sekhar and our team started talking about a collaboration, we knew that we needed to learn his story before creating ours.
First, we recorded a podcast exploring Tejas’ time growing up in the St. Louis area, his wide variety of experiences at Northwestern, and how’s he’s channeling his time and energy to do his part in fighting COVID-19. You can listen to that podcast on Spotify, as well as all of your favorite streaming platforms here.
Next, we talked through the design process. We knew we wanted to create something helpful that people can actually wear, so we went with four different mask designs, as well as a limited edition tee and a sticker perfect for your laptop! The designs drew inspiration from our brand, clad with a redesigned logo using our traditional box and font as well as lightning bolts sprinkled throughout. Also, you’ll notice some of the designs feature the St. Louis skyline, a nod to the 314 and the city that Tejas learned so much from.
The entire ENDINGCOVID x UNPLUGG’D collection is now available for purchase in our online store. All proceeds go to EndingCovid and their mission to raise money and distribute resources for two separate groups: PPE for hospitals and essential workers, as well as donations and food to vulnerable communities such as homeless and veteran shelters.
Pickup for any items you purchase will be available in the Evanston and St. Louis areas, and we will also be shipping to all states in the continental U.S. for a flat rate of $8. If you buy a pack of four masks — and/or pair any order with an ENDINGCOVID sticker — we will ship your items for free!
